NPD Treatment: NPD is one of the hardest disorders to treat, this is because of the patients and their attitudes. The patients like to think that nothing is wrong and that they are not doing anything wrong, so its hard to treat because they wont comply and just ignore their disorder. The patients have inabilities to listen, to admit wrong doings, they can act really cold towards others and their feelings, can have severe anger, etc. You can help all this by: -Being practical with them, they respond better withpractical questions and responses. -Be distant with them, not as close so there isn't frustration and look to others for help. -Have clear limits, verbal communication, debates, etc. -Dont argue or anger them. -Be clear and brief.
